You may have heard that wireless radiation emitted by cell towers and other wireless technology harms both human health and the environment.  But did you know that federal law prohibits your local government from protecting you and your community from this threat based on health and environmental concerns, despite mounting evidence that our growing wireless infrastructure poses significant risks to humans and the environment? We want them to have the ability to deny permit applications for cell towers in residential areas, close to homes and schools, based on the unique concerns of their communities, including health and environmental effects.
