Tell the FCC: Act Now on Court Order
Children's Health Defense
Despite
wireless radiation posing serious human and environmental risks, the
Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has not complied with a federal
court mandate requiring it to review its RF exposure guidelines and
explain how they protect humans and the environment.
In August 2021, The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit ruled that the FCC’s decision not to review its RF exposure guidelines was “arbitrary and capricious” – a landmark win in favor of Children’s Health Defense (CHD). In 2023, CHD took further legal action by submitting a petition for the FCC to comply with the mandate. Since the original ruling over three years ago, the FCC has taken no action to review its RF exposure guidelines or address the thousands of studies demonstrating harm.
RF radiation exposure from 4G/5G cell towers, WiFi, smartphones and other wireless technology harms wildlife, trees, and pollinators. Pollinators are essential for maintaining biodiversity and supporting food production, and increasing RF radiation exposure could have profound ecological consequences, including endangering global ecosystems and food security.
And there is more…
Known Environmental Impacts of RF Radiation Include:
Behavioral changes and navigation disruption in birds, bees, and other pollinators, impairing food-finding and ability to return to colonies and nesting sites.
Significant declines in colony strength and the egg-laying rate of queen bees.
Altered plant physiology, reduced seed germination, growth rates, and photosynthesis efficiency.
Thank you for taking action to protect children’s health and the environment.
