We all know that the radiation from the stricken Fukushima plant has spread around the globe and is poisoning people worldwide. We all know that the West Coast of the United States is being polluted with radioactive debris and that the oceans, the beaches that border them, and even the air is becoming more polluted by radioactivity as time goes on.
You have to ask yourself why the government won’t admit this. It’s not like a disaster half a world away is their fault, is it?
Or is it? Could the United States government have done something to prevent the situation getting to this point?

The surging crisis in Ukraine is a dramatic example of how wars begin. Take arrogance, toxic nationalism, tribalism, moral outrage and profound miscalculation, mix thoroughly, and, voilà !, another great leap forward in the march of human folly.

Russia just mobilized its western regions armed forces, an inevitable response to the growing turmoil in Ukraine. Most westerners are unaware that Ukraine is the cradle of Russian civilization and, when properly run, one of the world’s great producers of grains.

Now that western Ukraine has fallen to anti-Russian, nationalist groups, Russia-oriented eastern Ukraine is also threatening to explode. This nation of 44 million is already de facto split into two parts. How Ukraine’s armed forces respond remains an important question. On Thursday their command vowed to resist any incursion by Russian troops, but loyalties remain uncertain.

Unrest and some violence have now erupted in Crimea. Though 80% ethnic Russian, this highly strategic peninsula was given by the Soviet leadership to the Soviet Ukrainian Republic in 1954. The result, some say, of a grandiose, drunken gesture by Kremlin leader Nikita Khrushchev, a former Ukraine party boss. Back then it mattered little.

Today, Khrushchev’s gift has become a poisoned chalice. On my last assignment in Crimea, it was clear that most of its people desired reunification with Russia.

Spoiler Alert: In the Fulton County Superior Court of Atlanta, Georgia, on Monday, August 18th, 1913, at 2:15 pm, Leo Max Frank mounted the witness stand during the final week of his 29-day trial, and made an admission to the jury that amounted to a murder confession.

On Confederate Memorial Day (Georgia State Holiday), Saturday, April 26, 1913, at 12:02pm, Mary Phagan entered Leo Frank's second floor business office at the shuttered National Pencil Company (NPCo), asked for her pay envelope and inquired if the metal supplies had arrived yet. Phagan was never again seen alive, but found dead in the National Pencil Company basement by Newt Lee the Negro nightwatchman at 3:20 am on Sunday, April 27, 1913. Lee immediately climbed two floors & notified Atlanta Police via the wall telephone in Leo Frank's office. It marked the beginning of what would evolve into an embarrassing national scandal and cause celebre for the international Jewish community. Still refusing to gather dust, the Leo Frank Case continues smoldering as a divisive and incendiary Jewish-Gentile conflict more than a century later.

On Monday we covered reports indicating Russia had bolstered its forces in Crimea and the Black Sea following the success of the Euromaidan coup in Ukraine.

The heightened military posture was officially confirmed on Wednesday when Russian President Vladimir Putin put troops in Western Europe on alert and the Russian military began combat readiness drills in Western and Central Europe.

Following the move by Russia, NATO announced its “close and long-standing” relationship with Ukraine. “NATO is a sincere friend of Ukraine,” said NATO boss Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

NATO arranged a joint commission with Ukraine in 1997. In 2008, it agreed the nation could join the NATO military alliance initially established during the Cold War.

In 2004 Hungary joined the EU, expecting streets of gold. Instead, four years later in 2008 Hungary became indebted to the IMF. The rock video by the Hungarian group, Mouksa Underground sums up the result in Hungary today of falling into the hands of the EU and IMF.

April 1—In a special edition of the LaRouche PAC Weekly Report of March 31 (published in this issue), Lyndon LaRouche said that the center of the strategic battle against the British Empire is Afghanistan.

Remember, ... there's a war going on in Afghanistan. In this war, the United States, under the present President, is defending the right of the drug-traffickers to continue to operate without interference. We're fighting a war—we're sending troops in, to kill and be killed in Afghanistan, in order to protect the drug-traffickers! These drug-traffickers are also the major source of support for control of Russia. Because they harm Russia, ... like the recent [bombings] that just happened in Moscow. These are things which were done, and are being done against the United States, by killing our troops, in Afghanistan—with the President's permission, and encouragement!

At the same time, the same forces, the same group of people who were behind 9/11, are operating against Russia, too, now. And will operate against other nations.

And Obama is practically committing an act of treason, by sending U.S. troops into area, to be killed, by the logistical force which Obama is defending. If that isn't tantamount to treason, I don't know what is.

While the U.S. protection of the British-sponsored opium production in Afghanistan started under the Bush-Cheney Administration, it was Obama who ended all eradication of opium, and ended the efforts to eliminate the drug lords and traffickers who fund the Taliban and other insurgencies.

Delayed eruption or "weighting"? These results could have arisen by there being a delay in the eruption of these teeth in the Newburgh children, for it is unlikely that the eruption rate altered in the Kingston subjects. However, Ast et al., (195 1) said that "there does not seem to be any change in the eruption pattern among the children in Newburgh, the study city, as compared with those in Kingston, the control city." No definition of an "erupted tooth" was given, but it is presumed that the authors of this study did not adopt the odd method used in Evanston, where "Only teeth which were 50 per cent or more erupted were considered. A carious or filled tooth was, of course, considered regardless of its stage of eruption" (Hill et al., 1955).

The conclusion of Ast et al. that has just been mentioned was reached only four years after the commencement of fluoridation, and as the teeth considered were partially formed prior to the commencement of that process, they would not show effects which the ingestion of fluoridated water may produce on the early stages of tooth development.

If delay in eruption did not occur in Newburgh, the lower number of permanent teeth present at those ages in that city compared with that present in Kingston was due to a "weighting" effect; there having been, in proportion, more young children in each of these age groups in Newburgh than there were in Kingston. If this is the case, as it is reasonable to assume that the mean DMF rates of the younger children were lower than those of the older ones, it would appear that in these age groups the contrast between the DMF rates in Newburgh and those in the control city was exaggerated in the final report.
