Iran Regime Change: Will We Replace the Ayatollahs With Neocon Communists?
Never heard of Maryam Rajavi? How about the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) or the Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK)? Well, you’re going to be hearing a lot more about them. They are the new “saviors” of democracy whom we must install as the new leadership in Tehran. So we are told by the neocon globalist chorus. They have been singing this tune for many years, and it looks like now it might happen.
Here’s a salvo from the Daily Express in the U.K. on January 13 titled, “Horror in Iran as ‘12,000 protesters slaughtered’ in brutal regime crackdown”:
Sources within the People’s Mojahedin Organisation of Iran (MEK), which is fighting to bring full democracy to Iran after 47 years of Islamic dictatorship, said the new figures were based on investigations drawing on local sources, hospitals, forensic medicine centres, and the families of those killed or disappeared across the 195 cities.
The story continues:
Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and one of the key figures hoping to help replace Ayatollah Ali Khamenei [with] a fully democratic government[,] extended her condolences to the people of Iran, particularly to the families, relatives, friends, and fellow activists of these proud martyrs. She stated that this major crime against humanity will not go unanswered by the Iranian people and the uprising youth.
Rajavi emphasized that those who ordered and carried out this brutal massacre will undoubtedly be brought to justice in a democratic Iran of tomorrow.
Who is Maryam Rajavi? She is the visible face of the NCRI and MEK. Her husband, Massoud Rajavi, is said to be co-leader with her, but he has not been seen since 2003. The MEK, like the Ayatollah’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) that it opposes, is a Communist/Islamist hybrid animal. The Rajavis, like Ayatollah Khomeini, recognized the need to blend their Marxism-Leninism with Islam to get political traction among Persian Muslims. It is one of many Red/Green Islamo-Leninist terror organizations afflicting our geopolitical ecosystem.
They collaborated with Khomeini’s forces to topple the Shah, but then lost out in the bloody struggle for power afterward. So, they allied themselves with Saddam Hussein in Iraq — and with U.S. politicians. They were designated as a terrorist organization by the United States, United Kingdom, United Nations, European Union, Canada, Japan, and Australia. Why? Because they carried out numerous terrorist acts, including assassinations of U.S. civilians and military personnel.
Bipartisan Support in America
But, then they were delisted as a terrorist organization by (drum roll): Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during Barack Obama’s reign. Democrats who have jumped on the Rajavi-MEK-NCRI bandwagon include Bill Clinton, Howard Dean, Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), Louis Freeh, Bill Richardson, Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Judy Chu (D-California.), Sheila Jackson Lee, and Bob Menendez. Not to be outdone, Republicans have their own MEK cheerleading section, which includes Marco Rubio, Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), John Bolton, Mike Pompeo, Richard Perle, Michael Mukasey, Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Mike Pence, Dana Rohrabacher, and many more.
Is this the bipartisan Chalabi Choir all over again? Yes, only worse. Remember Ahmed Chalabi, the “George Washington of Iraq”? Turns out he was a total fraudster. But The Washington Post, The New York Times, and the Bush administration globalists put us in bed with his phony, corrupt Iraqi National Congress (INC) — with disastrous results for America, the Middle East, and the world. Are we about to see a repeat, with a Maryam Rajavi/MEK regime change in Iran reprising the Ahmed Chalabi/ICN regime change in Iraq?
Lies Exposed Decades Ago
No question, the Iranian regime — from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979 to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei today — is a brutal, totalitarian dictatorship. But don’t blame us. While Jimmy Carter and his CFR/Trilateral Commission handlers (Zbigniew Brzezinski, Cyrus Vance, Warren Christopher, Patricia Derian, Andrew Young, George Ball, et al.), along with The New York Times, The Washington Post, PBS, and the rest of the Deep State media herd, were demonizing Shah Reza Pahlavi and glorifying Khomeini, we were exposing their lies with the truth in the pages of American Opinion and The Review of The News (forerunners of The New American), as well as The Bulletin of The John Birch Society. (For the real story on the globalist-communist collaboration in the overthrow of the shah and the installation of the ayatollah, see James Perloff’s article in The New American, “Iran and the Shah: What Really Happened.”)
Regardless of the anti-globalist, MAGA rhetoric, U.S. President Donald Trump has surrounded himself with (or at least has allowed himself to be surrounded with) neocon interventionists who are pushing him to engage in military ventures in every corner of the planet.
