FUSION, FINANCE, AND THE MURDER OF DR NUNO LOUREIRO
Over the Christmas-New Year holiday a sad murder of a brilliant young Portuguese plasma physicist, Dr. Nuno Loureiro of MIT, occurred in his Brookline, Massachusetts home. The question, however, is why was he murdered, and of course, in the case of someone working on solving the difficulties associated with magnetic plasma confinement for controlled hot fusion, speculation abounds that the murder was because of the nature of his work. In the early days after his murder there was no official suspect, but subsequent investigation led to a Portuguese national, Claudio Neves Valente, as being the alleged murderer behind both the Loureiro murder and the shootings at Brown University(many of you, including J.C., M.P. and many others, sent me versions of the Loureiro story, for which I am most grateful):

Curiously, the discovery of a suspect has not been able to quash the speculation about Loureiro's murder, because in this case the alleged murderer left no indication as to possible motive:
Justice Department officials said Tuesday that during the search of the storage facility where Neves Valente's body was found, the FBI recovered an electronic device containing a series of short videos made by Neves Valente after the shootings.
In the recordings, the shooter admits in Portuguese that he had been "planning the Brown University shooting for a long time," according to a press release. He did not provide a motive for targeting Brown or the MIT professor, with whom he attended school in Portugal decades ago.
He said he felt he had nothing to apologize for. He also complained in the videos about injuring his eye in the shootings.
There you have it: supposedly there is no motive. In Loureiro's case there is only a prior connection to having been classmates at some unnamed and undisclosed school in Portugal.
Color me suspicious, especially when one recalls two things: (1) the existence of mind manipulation techniques and technologies and their successful operation since the 1950s, and probable successful deployment (consider only the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald by Jack Ruby, or the weird behavior of Robert Kennedy Sr.'s murdered Sirhan Sirhan, and its obvious indication of Sirhan having been hypnotically inducted, or the behavior of cult leader Jim Jones and his followers, and so on); and (2) the nature of Dr. Loureiro's work itself. The lack of any apparent motive, other than an intention or fixation on the act of killing itself, grimly recalls the incantatory nature of some of Sirhan Sirhan's diary notations prior to the RFK murder. (And, for the record, while Sirhan Sirhan was tried and convicted for the murder, I for one do not think he actually committed it. Was he there? Yes. Did he fire a gun? Yes. Did he murder RFK Sr.? No. He was simply not in the correct position to do so.) This brings us to the nature of Dr. Loureiro's work(X article shared by R.M., with our gratitude):

Notably Dr. Loureiro was involved in research that, basically put, used quantum computing algorithms to predict the behavior of hot plasmas and thus to enable a more efficient control and utilization of them:

Notice that in the second article we get more of an insight into the crucial and essential nature of Dr. Loureiro's research to the control of a stable hot plasma-fusion reaction:
At MIT, Loureiro’s research focused on topics including magnetic reconnection, plasma turbulence and the generation and amplification of magnetic fields.
Magnetic reconnection is a phenomenon that occurs when magnetic fields pointing in opposite directions are torn apart and reformed; this explosively releases energy stored in the field, heating up and accelerating particles.
Reconnection is the powerhouse behind the eruption of solar flares from the surface of Sun. The same process can also occur when Earth’s magnetic shield is buffeted by an oppositely-polarized solar wind—accelerating particles which whizz along the geomagnetic field lines to the poles, producing the northern and southern lights.
According to NASA—which is investigating this process around Earth with its “TRACERS” satellite mission, launched in July this year—a single magnetic reconnection can release as much energy as the whole U.S. uses in a day.
Notice that this means that Dr. Loureiro was working on much more than just how to control fusion in a reactor; rather, he was working on fundamentals of plasma physics involving processes in the Sun, and processes which also impinge on planetary physics. He is working in areas that theoretically would allow one to engineer the two, i.e., systems of planetary and stellar scale, systems of "cosmic" power with a weaponization potential. This is implied by the article's next admissions:

Donut-shaped reactor designs called “tokamaks” use magnets to contain plasma heated to millions of degrees, thereby recreating the conditions found in stars where fusion takes place.
Magnetic reconnection is an obstacle to commercially viable fusion, however, as it can cause “crashes” that keep the plasma temperature below the threshold required for fusion.
In their recently published works, Loureiro and his colleagues modelled how reconnection is affected by feedback on different scales, instabilities resulting from different drift velocities between electrons and ions and in plasma, and the radiative cooling of plasma current sheets.
Master the feedback and one might control not only the plasma in a reactor, but - here it comes - be able to predict, and possibly manipulate, stellar behavior, and planetary and atmospheric plasmas. Thus, while Loureiro himself was allegedly not working on any classified research, the implications of his research for the field are enormous, and certainly spill over into the world of classified projects, to such an extent that it seems unreasonable to expect that there was no connection between him and that classified world.
But what evidence is there of such a connection? The following may not be evidence, but it is at least very suggestive, and this article comes from one of our regular readers and contributors, P.T., with our gratitude:

So, a Donald Trump company, who's founder just happens to be The President of the USA, is merging with a Fusion Reactor company. Just after a Fusion Physics professor is murdered. What a coincidence. What a coincidence that a President would merge with a fusion company...when fusion should not work yet?
The scientists, working at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, recently achieved a net energy gain in a fusion reaction, the Financial Times reported, citing three people with knowledge of the experiment.
That "net gain" of energy probably flowed directly from the nature of Dr. Loureiro's research into how to predict plasma behavior and make the reactions more efficient.
Thus, while these articles are no proof of much deeper agendas behind Dr. Loureiro's murder, they do in my opinion substantially raise the bar of suspicion. And once one learns how to sustain and control efficient fusion reactions in the laboratory or in a reactor, another step will have been taken on the technology tree to being able to manipulate them on much bigger, planetary and stellar, scales.
