Fluoride Information

Fluoride is a poison. Fluoride was poison yesterday. Fluoride is poison today. Fluoride will be poison tomorrow. When in doubt, get it out.

Take Action — Light It Up for Local Control!

Thank you to our colleagues at Children's Health Defense who make it easy for the rest of us to take action to protect our communities from dangerously placed wireless infrastructure. Please see the action items below!

As those on the front lines of protecting children’s health and preserving local control, we know that our work often requires doing the hard things at inconvenient times. The holiday season may be busy, but the stakes have never been higher — and now is the time for action.

This season, federal agencies and Congress are pushing major policy changes that would allow industry to place cell towers and antennas virtually anywhere — including near homes, schools, playgrounds, and even houses of worship — all without informed consent, safety oversight, or accountability. Local communities would have no say in these decisions.

Communities must activate now!  Two major federal actions are moving quickly:

  • FCC Docket 25-276: A sweeping proposal to expand federal preemption, force rapid approvals, eliminate meaningful community participation, and allow wireless facilities almost anywhere.

  • H.R. 2289: A bill that would let federal agencies and telecom companies override local governments, bypass key environmental and historic-preservation reviews, and expand towers with little notice or public input.

These actions threaten community health, safety, privacy, property

values, and the fundamental right of residents to decide what belongs in their neighborhoods.

Take Action — Light It Up for Local Control!

Here’s how you can make a real difference:

  1. Share this information with your lists and on your social media accounts.

  2. Tell Congress to vote NO on H.R. 2289

  3. Tell the FCC and Congress not to adopt new FCC rules

  4. Make your voice part of the official record on the FCC Docket using our clear instructions. For more details on how to craft and submit your comment click here.

  5. Alert your local officials (mayors, city council members, zoning and planning board members, as well as any additional officials whom you know personally) and ask them to submit comments on your community’s behalf. Share our sample letter (available in Microsoft Word, Google Doc, and PDF format) which can be adapted to the particulars of your community. Spread the word by distributing this flyer during the holiday season and start conversations.

  6. Show up with signs to help spark conversations and raise awareness. Use our ready-to-print designs to ensure the message is clear, consistent, and powerful across all communities. You can also use these images on social media. All your resources can be found here.

Everything is done for you flyers, signs, messaging, and action instructions.  Your only job is to show up, engage your community, and make your voices heard.

This holiday season, don’t let the busyness of the season slow us down. Get off the couch and Light It Up for Local Control! Together, we can protect our children, preserve informed consent, and ensure our communities have a say in the decisions that affect our homes, schools, and neighborhoods.

Thank you for your leadership, dedication, and courage.

With gratitude,

Stephanie Locricchio
