Renegade Health Magazine: Winter 2024 (Digital Version)
I'm writing to you from St. Croix, where we're enjoying our fourth annual January visit to the U.S. Virgin Islands, and our first to this particular island. This is the second year in a row in which Joe Biden has vacationed in St. Croix in late December, so when we touched down we wound up directly in front of Air Force One. So far my phone has not rung for advice and insight, and in fact I think they left today. But despite not being a sought-after dinner companion of the Bidens, I am in good spirits. I'm happy today to be able to report on something good and wholesome and admirable and courageous. A physician friend of mine who goes by the name Doc Anarchy (because the wonderful people who run our society and the medical profession would ruin his life if he used his real name) launched his own dissident magazine, Renegade Health, last year.It took me long enough to figure this out, but thanks to the disastrous Covid response a lot more of us than ever are wondering about mainstream medicine, and the release of this new magazine concidences nicely with that shift in my brain.
The medical profession disgraced itself over the past three years nearly as much as did the public health establishment, whose voodoo accomplished a fat zero but ruined who knows how many lives. Countless doctors, meanwhile, showed no curiosity at all about treatments for Covid outside the approved regimen (like the atrocious Remdesivir), and none about the shots. We all know the heroic exceptions. But exceptions they were. Now, the natural questions are: what else that we've been told about health is false or on shaky scientific ground? Have financial interests driven health decisions and recommendations in cases other than Covid? What sources should we trust on questions relating to our health? No institution that recommended up to 11 servings of grain per day while urging us not to eat eggs can be taken seriously as a public health messenger. During this crazy period I got to know Doc Anarchy -- who, as I indicated above, operates under a pseudonym because that's how 2020s America is. You may have read his Substack yourself. Well, I'm happy to say that he just released his fourth issue, so the project has legs. The Winter issue contains inside-scoop articles like "Confessions of a Pharma Insider" but also, and mainly, material about specific aspects of your health and how to improve it -- whether it's confusion surrounding "calorie counting," or the benefits of eggs (and honey, too), obvious and not-so-obvious sources of obesity, and plenty more. I'm proud of what Doc is doing, and I've been trying to promote people who, instead of cursing the darkness, take action and do something. You know how we've been saying we need to create parallel institutions, because the mainstream ones are corrupt and evil? Here's a busy doctor doing exactly that for us. Let's support him, and in the process learn what they've been keeping from us (and take 20% off the digital version with code Woods): Tom Woods
