Cuckoo and the Consequences of Perpetual Wars from Veterans Today

Cuckoo and the Consequences of Perpetual Wars

“Brown University has released a new study on the cost in lives of America’s Post-9/11 Wars, in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. The study estimates between 480,000 and 507,000 people were killed in the course of the three conflicts. This includes combatant deaths and civilian deaths in fighting and war violence.

You probably have never heard of Cuckoo. Perhaps you will never will because the Zionist media won’t allow it. Why? Because that would destroy whatever credibility they superficially had about perpetual wars in the Middle East.
Cuckoo was a codename name given to Ali Muhammad Abdul Aziz al-Fakheri, also known as Ibn al-Sheikh al-Libi. From 2001 until 2005, Cuckoo was kept in US and Egyptian detention and was mercilessly tortured. The US intelligence tortured him precisely because they wanted to extract “important” information from him.
Cuckoo admitted that he gave the US intelligence fake information so that they would stop torturing him. The fake information led the US to invent crazy theories which eventually led to the destruction of Iraq in 2003. Cuckoo eventually died in a prison in Tripoli in 2009.[1]
Cuckoo helped the CIA fight the Soviets in the 1980s in Afghanistan. In fact,
“He was widely reported to have been the leader of the Khalden military training camp in eastern Afghanistan between 1995 and 2000… He was then sent by the CIA to Egypt in early 2002 – transported in a sealed coffin, according to an MI6 agent who witnessed him being carried onto the plane – as part of the US policy of rendition, in which terrorism suspects were transported to other countries for interrogation.”[2]
But when he was no longer useful, they disposed him like a piece of machine. As Michael Isikoff of Newsweek himself put it then:
“After NEWSWEEK reported that Libi’s recanted claims had been the basis for the bogus claims about Iraq-Al Qaeda ties, the Bush administration dropped all official references to Libi. He was conspicuously not among the “high-value detainees” sent to Guantánamo in September 2006 and was later reported to have been secretly shipped back to Libya.”[3]
The Neocons and the Bush administration wanted to justify their covert operations in Iraq and elsewhere, so they had to come up with a boogeyman, fake information, colossal hoaxes, deceptions, and just plain lies. What have been the consequences? Listen to this:
“Brown University has released a new study on the cost in lives of America’s Post-9/11 Wars, in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. The study estimates between 480,000 and 507,000 people were killed in the course of the three conflicts. This includes combatant deaths and civilian deaths in fighting and war violence. Civilians make up over half of the roughly 500,000 killed, with both opposition fighters and US-backed foreign military forces each sustaining in excess of 100,000 deaths as well.
“This is admittedly a dramatic under-report of people killed in the wars, as it only attempts to calculate those killed directly in war violence, and not the massive number of others civilians who died from infrastructure damage or other indirect results of the wars. The list also excludes the US war in Syria, which itself stakes claims to another 500,000 killed since 2011.”
Donald Trump obviously knows about the disasters that the Iraq war brought to much of the Middle East and America, but he continues to perpetuate more wars for Israel because he cannot flesh out a coherent thought about the Middle East without Benjamin Netanyahu telling him what to think and how to act.
