has had her newborn baby, Amethyst Vritschan. removed from her care in
L’Erasme Hopital in Brussels, Belgium, where she gave birth on October
18, on trumped-up charges of psychiatric instability.
Melanie Vritschan gave birth by planned
Ceaserean to the healthy baby girl, Amethyst Vritschan on Wednesday,
October 18, at L’Hopital Erasme in Brussels, Belgium. Mother and child
were both reported as doing very well shortly after the birth by Dr.
Katherine Horton, high-energy physicist, former CERN scientist,
founder/lead member of the US-Europe Joint Investigation Team, who was
present as her friend, colleague, and companion at the hospital, and
accompanied her into the operating-room.
The US-Europe Joint Investigation Team is
a human rights group and investigative team investigating the reports
of non-consensual directed-energy weapons, neuro weapons, and bioweapon
experimentation and operation that Americans and Europeans, as well as
other world citizens, are reporting in large numbers today.
Melanie Vritschan is also the founder of ICATOR, the International Coalition Against Electronic Torture and Robotization of Living Beings,
and vocal human rights advocate for the rights of all human beings to
be free of non-consensual military/Intelligence experimentation,
electromagnetic abuse, covert implantation, neurotechnology assault, and
bio-robotization.
Ms. Vritschan came to
world attention recently when a surgeon removed part of a large,
strangulating metallic implant from her neck, which had been covertly
implanted-possibly by the Belgian intelligence agency State Security
Service, headed by Jaak Raes, since intelligence agencies are now known
to be engaging in clandestine implantation practices, possibly by
NSA/DARPA, since this resembled a NSA/DARPA/Motorola patent using
self-assembling nanotechnology, and was being used to inflict pain at
her throat. This story was covered earlier by NewsInsideOut
journalist Alfred Webre. This non-biological, metallic implant was
recently spectroscopically and electronically analyzed in a laboratory
by Dr. Horton as well as another scientist and was found to carry
titanium-in no way biological or from the human body-in its makeup.

The Google Home team is aware of an issue impacting a
small number of Google Home Mini devices that could cause the touch

At a House hearing yesterday,
experts warned members of Congress that a North Korean EMP attack could
kill 90% of Americans within one year, calling it an “existential
threat.”

The Commission to Assess the Threat to
the United States from Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Attack has been

Hardell and Carlberg (2015) reported that
brain tumor rates have been increasing in Sweden based upon the Swedish
National Inpatient Registry data. Hardell and Carlberg (2017) reported
that brain tumors of unknown type increased from 2007-2015, especially
in the age group 20-39 years of age. According to the authors, “This may
be explained by higher risk for brain tumor in subjects with first use
of a wireless phone before the age of 20 years taking a reasonable
latency period.”
Hardell and Carlberg 2017 study showed
increasing trend in brain and central nervous system (CNS) tumors over
the period 2007-2015, statistically significant for males. It appears
that the tumor rate is about 50% higher in 2015 than it was in 2007.

The study is long, over 400 pages. The
conclusion of the Lilienfeld study was that no significant health
effects were seen (the study was looking mainly for differences in
cancer and morbidity rates), however, if you look at the individual data
tables, some statistically significant increases in health
effects (p<0.05) can be found in US Embassy employees who were
irradiated by radar in Moscowcompared to a similar population
that was not located in Moscow. There were about 3500 employees and
dependents at the US embassy in Moscow during the study period.

The National Toxicology Program found that mice and rats exposed to
non-ionizing, cell phone radiation developed DNA damage. About 30
studies in all including six human studies have found evidence of DNA
damage from exposure to low-intensity radiofrequency radiation (RFR).
The DNA damage appears to be an indirect effect of the oxidative stress
caused by exposure to RFR.

Emory Midtown Hospital adopts ‘smart’ baby bottles for NICU
It’s one of the first internet-connected
devices being used in the neonatal intensive care unit, or NICU,
approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
As a physical therapist, June Garber’s
fingers have guided her work with premature babies for nearly four
decades in the NICU at Emory University’s Hospital in midtown Atlanta.
She still relies on her hands to diagnose her small patients, but now she also uses a tablet that shows spikes and plateaus.
“You can feel their chest rise and fall
as they feed. With your finger on their chin, you can tell when they
swallow,” Garber explained. “The thing that you’re seeing on the screen
that’s different from what you would be able to see if I was just
sitting here feeding a baby is that you can tell what their tongue is
doing in their mouth.”

We need to continue research on the effects of mobile phone radiation
International Commission on Non-Ionizing
Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) and the World Health Organization (WHO)
are assuring that there is no reason to be concerned about the effects
of mobile phone radiation and that the current safety standards protect
all users. At the same time scientists are calling for more research.
Why?
Washington conference and US Senate hearing on mobile phones and health
For many years Europe has led the way in
mobile phone research because the funding was available there. In the
present situation of scientific uncertainty in this area, research
community is hoping that US would get more involved in this much needed
research by providing necessary funding.
How reliable is the epidemiological evidence on mobile phones and cancer?
The opening lecture of the recent BioEM
2009, the Joint Meeting of the Bioelectromagnetics Society and the
European BioElectromagnetics Association in Davos, Switzerland (http://bioem2009.org/)
was given by Anssi Auvinen. He reviewed all to date published
epidemiological studies dealing with mobile phones and cancer. In the
conclusion of his talk Auvinen said that we have performed sufficiently
many epidemiological case-control studies but that their scientific
evidence is of insufficient quality to reliably draw any
health-risk-related estimates. Responding to the question from the
audience, Auvinen admitted that execution of more of the case-control
studies will not improve the situation, because of the unavoidable
biases, and will be only waste of time and money.
Thermal or non-thermal: That is the question
When in year 2000 I began to attend the
bioelectromagnetics scientific meetings I noticed that if someone
commented that “the observed effects might be of thermal nature” this
was the most certain way to “kill the presentation” and to nullify its
scientific value. Why? Because it is commonly considered that present
safety standards prevent any health hazard of thermal effects of mobile
phone radiation. Another hot topic is whether mobile phone radiation, at
levels permitted by the present safety standards, can induce or not,
biological effects without the simultaneous increase of the temperature
of the exposed biological material – the so-called non-thermal (or
athermal) effects.
From China with love
I started research on mobile phone
radiation in 1999, ten years ago. Shortly after, in 2001, I began to
speak about the possible biological effects of mobile phone radiation
not only on scientific forums but also with the media and the general
public. Since I considered my opinions as fact-based and moderate, I got
surprised that this activity landed me “between a rock and a hard place“.
I began to be criticized by those who interpret any piece of scientific
evidence showing biological effect, as an indicator of health risk, and
by those who interpret the same evidence as an indication of no risk at
all. My opinions were considered as either not reaching far enough or
reaching too far. In spite of it, I have continued the moderate line and
I will do so also in my blog. In my opinion, the published science does
not permit to make the final judgment on the possibility of health risk
associated with the use of mobile phones. Furthermore, in my opinion,
the available scientific evidence is insufficient to reliably support
and justify the present no-health-risk-claims and the safety standards.

Cell phone usage associated with lower academic performance
The Effects of Cell Phone Use and Emotion-regulation Style on College Students’ Learning
Cell phones are becoming an inevitable
part of the classroom, but extant research suggests that using cell
phones in the classroom impairs academic performance. The present study
examined the impact of different cell phone policies on learning and
emotion-regulation style. Participants were randomly assigned to one of
four experimental conditions: cell phone usage allowed, cell phone
possession allowed but without usage, cell phones removed, and a
no-instruction control group. All participants watched a 20-minute
lecture and were sent text messages to mimic classroom distractions.
Afterward, participants took a multiple-choice test and filled out
questionnaires assessing their level of obsessiveness, nomophobia, and
mindfulness. Participants who had their cell phone taken away performed
best on the test with no other differences. None of the
emotional-regulation measures moderated the results. These findings
provide important insight as to how cell phone policies can optimize

The total flying insect biomass decreased
by more than 75 percent over 27 years in protected areas, according to a
study published October 18, 2017 in the open-access journal PLOS ONE by Caspar Hallmann from Radboud University, The Netherlands, and colleagues.
Insects play a crucial role in ecosystem
functioning, pollinating 80 percent of wild plants and providing a food
source for 60 percent of birds. Previous research has shown an overall
pattern of decline in insect diversity and abundance, but has focused on
single species or taxonomic groups, rather than monitoring insect
biomass over an extensive period.
