Julian Assange Is Very Ill & Nobody Is Talking About It: He’s Now In His Prison’s Health Ward
In Brief
- The Facts:Founder of
Wikileaks, Julian Assange, has been experiencing a decline of health for
a long
time. Since he has been taken into custody, his health has declined even more dramatically, and he is now in the hospital ward of the prison he's in. - Reflect On:Why are we hearing very little about this story? How did Assange become ill?
What’s
happening to Julian Assange is heart-breaking. Wikileaks has been
leaking verified information in the form of confidential classified
documents for a number of years. These documents have exposed the
corruption and deceit that appear to make up the backbone of modern day
geopolitics. It’s because of this that Assange has been taken into
custody, and not because he has really done anything ‘wrong’ or
participated in actions that are a threat to ‘national security.’ Yes,
those are the reasons he’s been put in jail, but the real motivations
for the powerful elite to have arrested him are very different.
Assange is simply sharing information
that exposes unethical and immoral actions, and national security has
now become an umbrella term to conceal all kinds of information to
protect corporate and political interests.
No mainstream media outlets seem to be
pointing out the condition of Assange and his overall health. For a long
time, he was held by authorities without any visitation rights, nobody
knew what was going on with him or who he was with. For someone who is
that big of a threat to the global elite, it’s worrisome, because what
happens to him is happening behind closed doors with no one watching.
Now, we just came across some
information suggesting that Assange’s health is in jeopardy. The most
mainstream article mentioning this is a Reuters article with the headline “Swedish court rejects delay of Assange hearing over ill-health: lawyer”.
On the other hand, if you go to the best
source to find out what’s going on with him, Wikileaks, their latest
report is actually quite frightening. I retrieved what’s written below
from their Facebook page:
WikiLeaks has grave concerns about the state of health of our publisher, Julian Assange, who has been moved to the health ward of Belmarsh prison. Mr Assange´s health had already significantly deteriorated after seven years inside the Ecuadorian embassy, under conditions that were incompatible with basic human rights. The United Nations twice found him to have been arbitrarily detained and called on the United Kingdom to honor its commitments under international law and free him. The UK’s refusal to abide by UN rulings, and its subsequent treatment of Mr. Assange since his arrest, presents serious questions about the UK’s standing as a human rights-abiding nation.advertisement - learn more
In his last year in the embassy, as the US finalized its extraditions plans, Julian Assange was, at the bequest of US authourities, totally isolated and gagged – a situation designed to make his life as hard as possible.During the seven weeks in Belmarsh his health has continued to deteriorate and he has dramatically lost weight. The decision of prison authorities to move him to the health ward speaks for itself. We strongly condemn the refusal by the Swedish court to postpone a hearing on 3rd June on the basis of Mr Assange’s health condition. Defense lawyer for Assange, Per Samuelson said that Julian Assange’s health state last Friday was such “that it was not possible to conduct a normal conversation with him”.Tomorrow, May 30, there is a formal hearing in Westminster Court on the Extradition request by the Trump administration. The initial U.S. warrant has been expanded to include a life sentence or potential death penalty under the Espionage Act, announced last week in the the superseding indictment which disclosed 17 additional charges, bringing the potential sentence to 175 years in prison. The indictments have been widely condemned by free press organizations as the most serious attack against publishing activities in modern times — the Trump administration in essence criminalizes the very act of journalism. The indictment utilises the archaic Espionage Act of 1917 to indict a publisher for the first time in history–in an unprecedented escalation of the Trump administration’s war on the free press.Kristinn Hrafnsson, WikiLeaks editor-in-chief:
“Julian’s case is of major historic significance. It will be remembered as the worst attack on press freedom in our lifetime. The People need to voice their condemnation; it is their politicians, their courts, their police and their prisons that are being abused in order to leave this black stain on history. Please act now to avert this shame”.
The note states that during his time in
Belmarsh, where he is currently being held, his health has dramatically
deteriorated and he has lost a great deal of weight. Despite this fact,
the Swedish court has refused to postpone his hearing, which is to be
held on June 3rd.
A Blow To Journalism
The attack on Julian Assange is indeed a
huge blow to journalism. All of this is happening during a time where
any media outlets and journalism that are not part of mainstream media
are being attacked, silenced and significantly censored.
We, here at Collective Evolution, have
been demonetized and are still struggling to stay afloat with regards to
supporting the work we do. This is why, at this time, we are urging our
viewers and community to become members of CETV to help us thrive.
NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden reacted on
Twitter, stating that “The Department of Justice just declared war –
not on Wikileaks, but on journalism itself. This is no longer about
Julian Assange: This case will decide the future of media.”
When it comes to mainstream media
journalism, Operation Mockingbird, a CIA program to infiltrate
mainstream media and use it to influence the minds of the masses decades
ago, seems to be in full effect today, at a larger scale than anyone
could possibly imagine. In early 2018, NBC hired former CIA chief John Brennan to serve as a “senior national security and intelligence analyst.”
A declassified document from the CIA
archives in the form of a letter from a CIA task force addressed to the
Director of the Central Intelligence Agency details the close
relationship that exists between the CIA, mainstream media
and academia. The document states that
the CIA task force “now has relationships with reporters from every
major wire service, newspaper, news weekly, and television network in
the nation,” and that “this has helped us turn some ‘intelligence
failure’ stories into ‘intelligence success’ stories, and has
contributed to the accuracy of countless others.” Furthermore, it
explains how the agency has “persuaded reporters to postpone, change,
hold, or even scrap stories that could have adversely affected national
security interests or jeopardized sources and methods.”
Multiple award-winning mainstream journalists have “come out” expressing the truth about mainstream media.
The World Is Waking Up
Within the past few years alone, massive amounts of information from outlets like Wikileaks, whistleblowers like Chelsea Manning and Edward Snowden, and media outlets like Collective Evolution have exposed so much information that threatens several corporate and political interests. Together we’ve unearthed the unethical and immoral actions of the global elite that are attempting to enslave humanity, take away our rights, and destroy our planet. This movement of transparently sharing information became so large and was spreading like wildfire across the world that ‘they’ had to enact a ‘shut down’ operation. This is the phase we are currently in, the phase of mass censorship of information, ideas and speech, yet many people are still oblivious to what’s going on.
The Takeaway
At the end of the day, every action taken by the elite sparks even more awareness, forcing more people to ‘wake up’ to what’s really happening on our planet. What Julian Assange is going through is another example. Despite all of their efforts to silence activists in various fields, we must continue to use our voices and speak up wherever and whenever we can to create awareness.Help Support Collective Evolution
