The actual solution is happening in front of Newsom’s own eyes. In his home city of San Fran and in Oakland, businesses are closing and moving out. Because of crime.
That’s the answer, when a snake is the Governor of the state.
In the wake of the Kansas City victory parade shooting, Gavin announced: “People who came to this celebration should expect a safe environment...This tragedy occurred even in the presence of uniformed officers. We cannot accept the status quo. We need to pass a Constitutional Amendment to prevent gun violence nationwide.”
Uh-huh. Right.
You can be sure the wording of that Amendment would demand people who already own millions and millions and millions of guns turn them in. Gun sales would be stopped. Cops and soldiers would be the only people allowed to own and carry guns.
Except for the security personnel who protect politicians like Newsom; and private armed guards rich people can afford.
After the Newsom Constitutional Amendment would be ratified, I’m going out on a limb and guessing criminals would find a way to retain possession of guns. And gangs, who are already given government protection from RICO prosecution and life sentences, would certainly have access to useful weapons.
Congress could pass a law offering gangs and cartels discounts, so they could purchase heavy heat without incurring a dent in their budgets.
Fast food joints, jewelry stores, and other retail outlets across the country could put up signs that declare: “Show us a gun and you’ll get all the free merchandise you require.”...
