MSF Releases Internal Review of What Happened in Kunduz on October 3

Based on your amazing support of our effort, we wanted to share some additional news with you:
Last week, MSF released its initial internal review of what happened before, during, and after the devastating aerial attacks on our trauma center in Kunduz, Afghanistan, in the early morning hours of October 3.
Based on interviews with surviving staff members, email and phone records, photographic evidence and more, the review gives firsthand accounts of the days preceding the attack, the horrific hour-plus in which the hospital was under immense and deadly fire from above, and the efforts of our staff, in the aftermath, to save as many patients and colleagues as they could. It also provides a log of all the calls made and SMS messages sent to authorities in the US and Afghanistan, informing them what was happening and imploring them to call it off.
