A Metaphysical Commitment
At the core of every scientific research program (and forced schooling is the largest such program in history) lies a metaphysical commitment on which all decision-making rests. For instance, the perspective of which pedagogy and behavioral science are both latter- day extensions rests on six pillars:
1. The world is independent of thought. It is atomic in its basic constituents.
2. The real properties of bodies are bulk, figure, texture, and motion. 3. Time and Space are real entities; the latter is Euclidean in its properties.
4. Mass is inert. Rest or uniform motion are equally "natural" conditions involving no consciousness.
5. Gravitational attraction exists between all masses.
6. Energy is conserved in interactions.
There is no obvious procedure for establishing any of these principles as true. There is no obvious experimental disproof of them either, or any way to meet Karl Popper's falsification requirement or Quine's modification of it. Yet these religious principles, as much metaphysics as physics, constitute the backbone of the most powerful research program in modern history: Newtonian physics and its modern fellow travelers. 5

The World Health Organization (WHO) again sounded the alarm about bird flu last week, warning it has an “extremely high” mortality rate among humans.
The disease, the H5N1 avian influenza virus — also known as “highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) A,” and simply as “bird flu” — can pass among some animals, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
However, it has never passed from human to human, and there have been extremely rare reports of animal-to-human transmission, the agency said.
Still, WHO Chief Scientist Jeremy Farrar said there is “great concern” that the disease will evolve and develop “the ability to go from human-to-human transmission.”
Reports of bird flu outbreaks date back to the 1880s, according to the CDC. Since 2014, there have been periodic and increasingly alarmist media stories about the virus.

A new report from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) confirmed a causal link between mRNA COVID-19 vaccines and myocarditis — but rejected a causal link between the vaccines and a host of other adverse effects including female infertility, Guillain-Barré syndrome, Bell’s palsy, thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome and heart attack.
Brian Hooker, Ph.D., chief scientific officer for Children’s Health Defense, called the NASEM report a “whitewash of the horrible truth regarding COVID-19 vaccines.”
Hooker told The Defender:
“The propaganda is so thick in the report it is difficult to know where to start. Although the NASEM report authors found a link between mRNA vaccines and myocarditis, they said it was mild — which couldn’t be further from the truth. It is shameful that they would downplay such a debilitating and life-changing adverse event from COVID-19 vaccines.”

In 2015, American researchers and Chinese Wuhan Institute of Virology researchers collaborated to transform an animal coronavirus into one that can attack humans. Scientists from prestigious American universities and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) worked directly with the two coauthor researchers from Wuhan Institute of Virology, Xing-Yi Ge and Zhengli-Li Shi. Funding was provided by the Chinese and US governments. The team succeeded in modifying a bat coronavirus to make it capable of infecting humans.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) have agreed to remove social media posts and web pages cautioning the public not to take the FDA-approved drug Ivermectin to treat COVID-19 symptoms. The move comes as part of lawsuit settlement.
In 2022, three doctors, Drs. Mary Talley Bowden, Paul Marik and Robert Apter filed suit against the FDA claiming that it interfered with the doctor-patient relationship and prevented patients from getting prescribed treatment because pharmacists refused to fill prescriptions and insurance companies would not pay for prescriptions of Ivermectin.1 2
The FDA has agreed to remove and never republish posts such as the one from 2021 that had a picture of a horse and said, “You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y’all Stop it” and, “Why You Should Not Take Ivermectin to Treat or Prevent COVID-19.”3 In return, the doctors suing the government agency have agreed to dismiss their claim.4

If you were wondering why or how the mainstream media coverage of what is taking place in Gaza is so slanted as to make it look like a real war between two well-armed and competitive adversaries instead of a massacre of civilians, wonder no longer! A leak has exposed a New York Times internal document that provides editorial guidance about words that should not be used in any article relating to Gaza or to Palestine. They include “genocide,” “ethnic cleansing,” “occupied territory,” and even “Palestine” itself. The intent is clearly to eliminate any words with negative connotations what might be applied in some fashion to Israel and to what Israel is doing, even going so far as to not include any suggestion that Palestine itself might be considered a legitimate political entity. At the same time the media is letting be heard arguments that Israelis killing Palestinians is justified as they are all “terrorists,” even the little ones who will grow up to become enemies of Israel and Jews worldwide.

I have several times reported the same. Nixon was removed because he was making arms limitation agreements with the Soviets and opening to China. This was normalizing the enemy that the military/security complex needed for its budget and power. It was for the same reason that President Kennedy was assassinated by the military/security complex. The growing suspicion about Kennedy’s assassination meant that the military/security complex could not risk a second violent assassination, so Nixon was politically assassinated.

According to the US Treasury, the two largest buyers of US Treasuries have been Japan and China. Japan is now the largest holder, but this reflects the interests of mainly pension funds, insurance companies, and a carry trade. Most of the $775 billion recorded as Chinese is the Chinese government itself, making it by far and away the single largest holder. This is because China exercises exchange controls, thereby limiting foreign investment by domestic institutions. And in the past the Peoples Bank has accumulated dollars and US Treasuries (and gold) as a consequence of trade surpluses.
Britain and others are also listed as major holders. But as in Japan’s case, these are not holdings of government agencies and cannot be influenced by the US Treasury directly. This is why the US Treasury is liaising with the Peoples Bank and China’s treasury officials, trying to persuade them not to sell but to buy more US Treasuries. Being in a debt trap, the Americans will be desperate to secure funding without interest costs rising making a deteriorating government debt position even worse.

The truth is it’s a guess. William Shaksper, “the man from Stratford”, is known to have been baptised on April 26th and since babies of that time were generally baptized quite quickly, it stands to reason he was born sometime in the preceding few days.
The consensus is April 23rd because it allows England’s most famous literary son to have been born on his nation’s Patron Saints Day – and that was apparently a contrivance too poetic to pass up.
…But all of that is immaterial, because whether or not he was born on April 23rd, “the man from Stratford” didn’t write the plays. At least that’s the contention of a vocal minority – including Mark Twain, Charles Dickens and Charlie Chaplin – over hundreds of years.
It’s also the position taken up by Last Will & Testament, a 2012 documentary directed by Laura and Lisa Wilson, and the latest subject of the OffG Recommends series.
The documentary is a great introduction to the topic for anyone who has never come across it before, making the case against the traditional attribution by interspersing expert opinion, historical documentation and – for want of a better word – “celebrity” guests.

Conceptions of emptiness to be filled as the foundation metaphor of schooling are not confined to hollowness and plasticity, but also include theories of mechanism. De La Mettrie's 2 Man a Machine vision from the Enlightenment, for instance, is evidence of an idea regularly recurring for millennia. If we are mechanisms, we must be predetermined, as Calvin said. Then the whole notion of "Education" is nonsensical. There is no independent inner essence to be drawn forth and developed. Only adjustments are possible, and if the contraption doesn't work right, it should be junked. Everything important about machinery is superficial.
This notion of machine emptiness has been the master theory of human nature since the beginning of the nineteenth century. It still takes turns in curriculum formation with theories of vegetable emptiness, plastic emptiness, systems emptiness and, from time to time, some good old-fashioned Lockean blank sheet emptiness. Nobody writes curriculum for self-determined spiritual individuals and expects to sell it in the public school market.

It is called early onset cancer. And the Princess of Wales, diagnosed at 42, is part of an unfortunate new trend of more and younger cancer cases.
Yale, Harvard and the American Cancer Society each weighed in recently on this unthinkable twist in the toll of cancer. A record 2 million people in the United States will suffer malignancies this year, the society said, and a larger share of the 600,000 to die, they agreed, will be younger than before. This marked a sea change in the cancer message. In 2023, the Cancer Society’s previous annual report focused on 29 years of cancer progress tempered by racial disparities in survival.
But the 2024 report was different. Colorectal cancer moved as of 2021 to the leading cause (from fourth) of cancer death in men under 50, the report said, and second for women. Young adult oral and liver cancer deaths were increasing, along with deadly cervical tumors in women ages 30 through 44, reversing “decades of decline.”

the 10 year anniversary of the September 11, 2001 tragedy. Regarding the events
of that fateful day, we can be certain of one thing: we have not been told the
truth. Many of the 9/11 Commission members, who authored the official 9/11 Commission Report [2], have
admitted as much. In addition to the above statement by Max Cleland about a
White House cover up, commission members have revealed that they “were setup to
fail,” [3] [4] the “CIA obstructed our investigation,” [5] the statements made
by NORAD officials “was just so far from the truth,” [6] that they were
“extremely frustrated with the false statements we were getting,” [7] and they
“don’t believe for a minute that we got everything right.” [8]

Even as U.S. health agencies and the United Nations World Health Organization (WHO) are being heavily criticized for their botched response to the COVID-19 pandemic,1 2 3 WHO officials are ramping up pressure on all nations to sign a WHO pandemic treaty and amendments to the WHO’s International Health Regulations (IHR), which will give them more authority to track, quarantine, force vaccine use and censor free speech during WHO declared pandemics.4 5 The WHO’s Director General has been blaming opposition to the UN agency’s epic power grab on “a torrent of fake news, lies and conspiracy theories.”6
On Apr. 19, 2024, the United Nations sent out a press release declaring that the “ongoing global spread of ‘bird flu’ infections to mammals including humans is a significant public health concern,” pointing to an outbreak of H5N1 viral infections in dairy cows in the U.S. and warning that the virus could evolve and cause human-to-human transmission with “extremely high” mortality.7 The implication was that a potentially deadly global bird flu pandemic was a clear possibility.

The Wonderful Company, which has been recognized for its sustainability initiatives and owns POM pomegranate juice, Fiji Water, and other popular brands, was among California’s top sprayers of the toxic weedkiller paraquat in 2021, according to a new analysis.
The major agricultural company, which grows pistachios, almonds, and pomegranates, was California’s second-largest sprayer of paraquat, which has been linked to Parkinson’s disease.
Wonderful accounted for over 13% of the state’s paraquat use, applying almost 57,000 lbs to its fields, according to the analysis published Thursday by the Environmental Working Group (EWG), which drew from data obtained from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation and county agriculture commissioners.
The company’s website states that “environmental sustainability is at the center of our work” and that the company, “in all its operations, must be a deeply responsible steward of the environment, and lead by example to create a sustainable future.” Wonderful has invested $400 million in sustainable agriculture, according to its website.
The Wonderful Company did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

There are no State Republics at this time --- there are only republican States.
There's
a difference. Take note. Also note that the word "republican" as used
here has nothing to do with any political party.
We are guaranteed a "republican form of government" -- not a republic form of government.
In
Latin there is a difference between "republic" and "republican" and
that difference carries on when you translate to English.
A State is an unincorporated business belonging to the people of each state.
A State-of-State is a corporate business belonging to the State referenced above.
A State Republic is an incorporated business belonging to the State-of-State.
There
is a reason why, when you look around, you don't see a Confederation of
States in operation, and you don't see a Federal Republic, either.
