I am writing to add my voice of support for an investigation into Dr. Anthony Fauci’s handling of the COVID pandemic as suggested by Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz.

As detailed in Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s new bestselling book, The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health, https://tinyurl.com/322w64nd, Dr. Fauci’s failure to green light early, safe and effective treatments in favor of the expensive and highly risky remdesivir – as well as even riskier COVID -19 vaccines – may well have cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of Americans.

Documents show that NIAID provided more than $3.1 million for bat coronavirus research to the EcoHealth Alliance, a New York-based nonprofit headed by Peter Dazak, including $599,000 to enable the Wuhan Institute of Virology to help identify and modify bat coronaviruses to infect humans. The grant proposal also clearly acknowledges potential dangers and risk of exposure associated with the types of experiments that were being conducted in Wuhan, demonstrating that EcoHealth Alliance knew that a lab-leak theory was plausible.

Additionally, Dr. Fauci has been vocal in promoting COVID vaccines for children as young as five years old. This is unconscionable considering that children have virtually no risk of serious disease or death from COVID and he must surely be aware that from mid-December, 2020 through November 19, 2021 there have been 913,258 injuries including 19,249 deaths following COVID vaccination as reported to the U.S. government’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System. Asking parents to sacrifice their children's health for a disease that is mainly affecting older, unhealthy Americans with comorbid conditions is a failure of epic proportions.

As America's top-paid government official in charge of the health of all Americans, there has never been anyone in the history of this country who has warranted a thorough Congressional investigation more than Dr. Anthony Fauci. I urge you to read the book for yourself so you can understand the pattern of public health abuse that has been consistent throughout Dr. Fauci’s tenure with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. It will then be clear to you why you must do all in your power as a member of Congress to ensure that an investigation of Dr. Fauci is launched immediately.
