Leaked Documents Explicitly Expose How Facebook ‘Censors’ Vaccine Concerns

Why is credible information being censored? Why are doctors, scientists and other experts in the field being censored for simply sharing their concerns about vaccines? If there are legitimate concerns, shouldn't the public have the right to know?
Censorship is something we here at Collective Evolution have experienced many times – especially at the hands of Facebook. We began our work in 2009, growing our following on Facebook to over five million people, with a website viewership of tens of millions of page views a month. We were a fast growing company with big plans and then, all of a sudden, Facebook changed their algorithms. Not only that, they began knocking “less trusted” brands out of their algorithm as well. Over the course of a year, our viewership dropped drastically. This cost our company millions in revenue over just a couple of years. Then, our articles began getting flagged as “fake news,” causing even more restrictions on our page despite the fact that the news was not fake at all.
This is why it’s no surprise to us to learn of Facebook whistleblowers who recently came forward to Project Veritas and outlined, very clearly, how Facebook censors vaccine information. More on this in a moment.

As of 2020, many of the world’s most renowned doctors, scientists and infectious disease experts in the field began experiencing the same censorship we experienced over the last 5 or so years. Any information or evidence that threatens the “accepted” narrative around COVID-19, and many other topics, is quickly done away with and censored. On top of that, it receives no attention within the mainstream media. This is a new effort in the battle to control the most precious resource on planet Earth, the human mind and how the masses perceive certain major global issues, like COVID, which has become extremely politicized alongside other major issues.
The birth of independent media and people seeking out other sources for information beyond mainstream media was, and still is, a major threat to the small group of companies that have always been humanity’s source of news and information.
Dealing with Facebook “fact-checkers” is another nightmare in itself. Carl Heneghan, an emergency GP, professor at Oxford University and director of their Centre for Evidence-Based medicine is one of many who have had their articles labelled as “false” by Facebook regarding the effectiveness of masks. We recently had an article filled with peer-reviewed medical and scientific research labelled false as well. The particular fact-checker, “Lead Stories”, did not provide an explanation nor reply to our inquiry as to why they considered our article to be false. This is actually a bit uncommon as fact checkers do often respond, even when it’s clear their ‘opinion’ is causing them to think your article is false, not actual facts or evidence.
It’s hard to deal with Facebook fact-checkers, and when you do get a hold of them, they do not want to entertain a conversation unless you bend to their will and change what the article says. It is flat out censorship. You’re just not allowed to say certain things these days without being punished for it.
It’s the same thing with vaccines. No matter how many scientists, doctors and/or renowned vaccine experts raise questions and concerns regarding vaccine safety, they are subjected to the same type of treatment. I recently wrote one example regarding a Harvard professor of medicine, it’s one of many great examples.
As a result of demonetization on all platforms, combined with the censorship we experience, we opened up a CE Membership option to support our work. Gone are the days when we don’t have to rely on our audience to stay afloat. We feel this is a big part of the design of censorship, to cripple a company’s ability to fund itself, especially if that company has a large reach.
Whistleblowers: How Facebook Censors
Two Facebook insiders came forward with internal company documents detailing plans to change “vaccine hesitancy.” This isn’t really a secret, as Facebook went public with these plans a while ago. The issue is that Facebook is censoring legitimate scientific and medical research, regardless of how true or credible it is, so long as it paints vaccines in a concerning light. How does this make any sense? Shouldn’t legitimate concerns about vaccine safety be shared with everybody openly and freely? Why would there be such an effort to hide them? Is this not unethical? If this is really about what’s best for our health wouldn’t everybody, both “pro” and “anti” vaccine want further investigation into these concerns?
The two whistleblowers went to Project Veritas to bring their story public. According to them, the goal at Facebook has been to “drastically reduce user exposure” to certain content surrounding vaccines, as well as decrease engagement, viewership, and more. According to one of the whistleblowers, “They’re trying to control this content before it even makes it onto your page, before you even see it.”
