Renowned German Pulmonologist Questions Coronavirus Measures & If They’re Necessary (Video)

Renowned German Pulmonologist Questions Coronavirus Measures & If They’re Necessary (Video)

In Brief

  • The Facts:Below is a video of Dr. Wolfgang Wodargm, a well known pulmonologist sharing his thoughts on the new coronavirus. In it, he questions the current lockdown measures being taken by governments worldwide .
  • Reflect On:Why are expert opinions like this being ridiculed, and sometimes even flagged as 'false information' when they are simply the opinions of medical experts? Why are people who ask questions constantly judged and demonized?
Obviously, like everyone else out there, I myself am definitely an advocate of the “safety first” rule
when it comes to situations like the one we’re currently facing with the new coronavirus. This doesn’t mean that we cannot question what’s going on, and the day we stop questioning what’s happening is and will be a sad day. Furthermore, those who do question official narratives that are constantly beamed out by government agencies and mainstream media are vital, as it allows us to expand our consciousness and perhaps see things about the human experience that weren’t quite as obvious as before. This type of questioning has encouraged the human race to see through the veils that in some cases, blind the masses. Crisis events such as 9/11, or what we are experiencing today have always been a great catalyst for people to become aware of deception and manipulation that plague our world is so many ways.

But questioning today comes with a consequence. Scientists and physicians are now sharing narratives that are being flagged as ‘false’ by ‘fact-checkers.’ Even media outlets like Collective Evolution who share the opinions of  these experts are flagged, demonetized and hit with a limited reach. We are even fearful of our Facebook Page being deleted, so we are encouraging all those who want to continue to receive and be able to find our content to sign up for our email list.
According to Dr. Ron Paul. people should ask themselves whether  the actual danger of the disease massively exaggerated by those who seek to profit – financially or politically – from the ensuing panic. He was flagged by fact checkers for simply sharing his opinion.
This is not to say the disease is harmless. Without question people will die from coronavirus. Those in vulnerable categories should take precautions to limit their risk of exposure. But we have seen this movie before. Government over-hypes a threat as an excuse to grab more of our freedoms. When the “threat” is over, however, they never give us our freedoms back.
As far as the current coronavirus scare the world seems to be in, we’ve been writing about it for quite some time, and sharing why what we are seeing by governments around the world is indeed questionable, and in many cases, doesn’t make much sense, on multiple levels. That being said, it can easily be argued that it does make sense. This is simply a discussion.
Again, these are just opinions and critical questions. There’s no need to judge them, or judge those who share them, or engage in character assassination. Facts are facts, and data is data, and at the end of the day the facts and data about the new coronavirus, existing coronaviruses, and other diseases/viruses that spread rapidly and infect millions of people around the globe may not justify what’s happening right now with regards to all of the ‘lockdown measures.’ And it’s OK to share these opinions, because that’s just what they are, and sometimes opinions don’t really hold much truth.
That’s up for the readers an watchers to decide.
Yesterday, I shared a video from Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi, a specialist in microbiology and one of the most cited research scientists in German history. It was of him sharing his thoughts on the measures that are being taken to combat the new coronavirus, he called them “Draconian. I specifically like this video because he addresses many points being made, including hospitals being overwhelmed, and more. Take a look at that one if you haven’t already.
Prior to that, I shared  the opinions of three Stanford professors of medicine that made the point of stating, ‘extraordinary claims require extraordinary data.’ You can read more about that specifically, here, as they also question the lockdown measures for a virus that may not be out of the ordinary compared to other viruses currently in circulation, and recent (previous) global virus pandemics.
The point is, experts in the field of medicine are starting to come out making some very interesting points. Why is their opinion blocked and censored all the time? What’s going on here?
It’s not off the cuff to conclude “that the problem of SARS-CoV-2 is probably being overestimated” (SARS-CoV-2: fear versus data), especially when we compare it to already existing circulating coronaviruses that infect millions of people every single year, and ones that can have a high fatality rate in the elderly.
Below is a video of  Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg, is an internist, pulmonologist, social doctor, doctor of hygiene and environmental medicine and was for many years head of a health department. From 1994 to 2009 he was a Member of Parliament for the SPD in the Bundestag and their initiator and spokesman of the Enquetekommission Ethics and Law of Modern Medicine. He was also Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Health. Now he works as a university teacher in Berlin and Flensburg and on a voluntary basis as a board member at Transparency International Germany. (source)
What he say’s is interesting, given his expertise in the field of viruses and medicine, it really makes you think about some things, and there’s nothing wrong with thinking.
