Lost in the media circus about the Iraq war, supposedly being fought to prevent a tyrant from obtaining weapons of mass destruction, is the salient fact that the United States and Britain are actively waging chemical and nuclear warfare in Iraq - using depleted uranium munitions.

The corporate-controlled press has failed to inform the public that, in spite of years of UN inspections and numerous international treaties, tons of banned weapons of mass destruction (WMD) - used and unused - remain in Iraq. Indeed, both chemical and radioactive WMD have been - and continue to be used against U.S. and coalition soldiers.

The media silence surrounding these banned WMD, and the horrendous consequences of their use, is due to the simple fact that they are being used by the U.S.-led coalition. They are the new "Silver Bullet" in the U.S. arsenal. They are depleted uranium weapons.

Depleted uranium (DU) weapons were first used during the first Gulf War against Iraq in 1991. The Pentagon estimated that between 315 and 350 tons of DU were fired during the first Gulf War. During the 2003 invasion and current occupation of Iraq, U.S. and British troops have reportedly used more than five times as many DU bombs and shells as the total number used during the 1991 war.

While the use of DU weapons and their effect on human health and the environment are subjects of extreme importance the Pentagon is noticeably reluctant to discuss these weapons. Despite numerous calls to specific individuals identified as being the appointed spokesmen on the subject, not one would answer their phone during normal business hours for the purpose of this article.

Dr. Doug Rokke, on the other hand, former director of the U.S. Armyís Depleted Uranium Project, is very willing to talk about the effects of DU. Rokke was involved in the "clean up" of 34 Abrams tanks and Bradley armored vehicles hit by friendly fire during the 1991 Gulf War. Today he suffers from the ill effects of DU in his body.

Rokke told American Free Press that the Pentagon uses DU weapons because they are the most effective at killing and destroying everything they hit. The highest level of the U.S. and British governments have "totally disregarded the consequences" of the use of DU weapons, Rokke said.

Traditional education can be seen as sculptural in nature, individual destiny is written somewhere within the human being, awaiting dross to be removed before a true image shines forth. Schooling, on the other hand, seeks a way to make mind and character blank, so others may chisel the destiny thereon.

Karl Popper's book The Open Society and Its Enemies reveals with great clarity how old the idea of tabula rasa (erroneously attributed to John Locke) actually is. In writing of Plato's great Utopia, The Republic, Popper shows Socrates telling auditors: "They will take as their canvas a city and the characters of men, and they will, first of all, make their canvas clean — by no means an easy matter.... They will not start work on a city nor on an individual unless they are given a clean canvas, or have cleaned it themselves." (emphasis added) Popper continues:

In the same spirit, Plato says in The Statesman of the royal rulers who rule in accordance with the royal science of statesmanship: "Whether they happen to rule by law or without law, over willing or unwilling subjects;... whether they purge the state for its good by killing or banishing some of its citizens — as long as they proceed according to science. ..this form of government must be declared the only one that is right." This is what canvas-cleaning means. He must eradicate existing institutions and traditions. He must purify, purge, expel, banish and kill.

Canvas-cleaning frees the individual of all responsibility. Morality is voided, replaced by reinforcement schedules. In their most enlightened form, theories of a therapeutic community are those in which only positive reinforcements are prescribed.

"First Man In" for Truth

Myself and 100 other people had the good fortune to see William Rodriguez speak in Nanaimo, BC on Sept 17th, 2007. There are many things quite remarkable about this man, his rare sense of integrity being chief among them. I had heard him before on a radio show, it was a fascinating interview where he went into some detail about his youth, his career in magic, and just some of the noteworthy people he has been associated with throughout his extraordinary life so far. Working at the World Trade Center for 20 years, he was one of a small group of people who possessed a master key to the building. That fact, along with his intimate knowledge of this huge complex, permitted firefighters easier access, and therefore more people could be saved. Rodriguez is a humble man who makes references to the fact that he is just a janitor, but in truth, he is a powerful individual with an amazing story to tell. Through his experiences we see revealed a man who possesses incredible loyalty, uncommon bravery, and the strength of his convictions concerning truth and justice.

More than 2 hours sped by all too fast as we heard his first person account of events that occurred at the World Trade Center on 9/11. I was surprised to hear him tell of the many instances where he kept going back into the building to rescue strangers and try and save his friends. Not surprising is the fact that all of his testimony about the bombs going off before the planes hit was omitted from the official 9/11 Commission Report - as a matter of fact there is no mention of William Rodriguez at all, or the many others who would have to be considered prime witnesses in any real investigation.

Since our society is conditioned to believe all vaccines are “safe and effective” many do not realize the risk and benefits of each vaccine vary greatly. One of the most controversial vaccines has been the Hepatitis B vaccine, which is given to every newborn in the country at their most fragile moment of life despite their risk of contracting hepatitis B being negligible.

Bonnie Dunbar PhD has also been in contact with numerous physicians and research scientists from several countries who have independently described thousands of identical severe reactions occurring in Caucasian recipients of the hepatitis vaccine.

Since entering the market, the hepatitis B vaccine has been marred with safety concerns:

Yes, sometimes young people have strokes. Sometimes they get cancer. Mostly they don’t. And when well-established population incidence of something such as ALS or stroke or infertility or cancer or lupus, etc., suddenly shoots up, there is always a cause. It is the work of epidemiology, forensics, pathology and similar to look at the pattern and find the cause so it can be remedied.
