Just Another Day At The Office - Scientific Fraud Scandal At The CDC Is Simply Routine
With all of the misrepresentations, fraud and corruption that is routine at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), how could anybody be surprised at the now admitted omission of data correlating vaccines and autism? We're talking about the CDC here. This is the same agency that has colluded with the World Health Organization (WHO) numerous times to orchestrate some of the most massive scientific frauds at the expense of human health. The virality of this latest scandal is simply icing on the cake.
For nearly ten years, Brian Hooker has been requesting documents that were kept under tight wraps
by the CDC. His more than 100 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests have resulted in copious evidence that the vaccine preservative Thimerosal, which is still used in the flu shot that is administered to pregnant women and infants, can cause autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Although the FDA gave a two year deadline to remove the mercury based preservative from vaccines after the neurotoxin was banned in 1999, it still remains to this day in 60 percent of flu vaccines.
Dr. Hooker, a PhD scientist, worked with two members of Congress to craft the letter to the CDC that recently resulted in his obtaining long-awaited data from the CDC, the significance of which is historic. According to Hooker, the data on over 400,000 infants born between 1991 and 1997, which was analyzed by CDC epidemiologist Thomas Verstraeten, MD, “proves unequivocally that in 2000, CDC officials were informed internally of the very high risk of autism, non-organic sleep disorder and speech disorder associated with Thimerosal exposure.”
How Quickly We Forget About Dr. Poul Thorsen
It seems we all have a very short-term memory when it comes to the CDC's corruption. How quickly we forget about Dr. Poul Thorsen, a leading member of a Danish research group that wrote several key studies supporting CDC's claims that the MMR vaccine and mercury-laden vaccines were safe for children. Thorsen's 2003 Danish study reported a 20-fold increase in autism in Denmark after that country banned mercury based preservatives in its vaccines. His study concluded that mercury could therefore not be the culprit behind the autism epidemic.
His study has long been criticized as fraudulent since it failed to disclose that the increase was an artifact of new mandates requiring, for the first time, that autism cases be reported on the national registry. This new law and the opening of a clinic dedicated to autism treatment in Copenhagen accounted for the sudden rise in reported cases rather than, as Thorsen seemed to suggest, the removal of mercury from vaccines. Despite this obvious chicanery, CDC has long touted the study as the principal proof that mercury-laced vaccines are safe for infants and young children. Mainstream media, particularly the New York Times, has relied on this study as the basis for its public assurances that it is safe to inject young children with mercury -- a potent neurotoxin -- at concentrations hundreds of times over the U.S. safety limits.
Thorsen, who was a psychiatrist and not a research scientist or toxicologist, parlayed that study into a long-term relationship with CDC. He built a research empire called the North Atlantic Epidemiology Alliances (NANEA) that advertised its close association with the CDC autism team, a relationship that had the agency paying Thorsen and his research staff millions of dollars to churn out research papers, many of them assuring the public on the issue of vaccine safety.
The discovery of Thorsen's fraud came as the result of an investigation by Aarhus University and CDC which discovered that Thorsen had falsified documents and, in violation of university rules, was accepting salaries from both the Danish university and Emory University in Atlanta -- near CDC headquarters -- where he led research efforts to defend the role of vaccines in causing autism and other brain disorders. Thorsen's center has received $14.6 million from CDC since 2002.
Thorsen's partner Kreesten Madsen recently came under fierce criticism after damning e-mails surfaced showing Madsen in cahoots with CDC officials intent on fraudulently cherry picking facts to prove vaccine safety.
Leading independent scientists have accused CDC of concealing the clear link between the dramatic increases in mercury-laced child vaccinations beginning in 1989 and the epidemic of autism, neurological disorders and other illnesses affecting every generation of American children since. Questions about Thorsens's scientific integrity may finally force CDC to rethink the vaccine protocols since most of the other key pro vaccine studies cited by CDC rely on the findings of Thorsen's research group. These include oft referenced research articles published by the Journal of the American Medical Association, the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the New England Journal of Medicine and others. The validity of all these studies is now in question.
H1N1 Pandemic Fraud Was Orchestrated By The CDC and WHO
I reported extensively on the H1N1 flu pandemic fraud in 2009. At that time, the CDC and WHO marched forward with their rampage of manipulation and deception on swine flu data. The use of the CDC as a front line operation to deceive the U.S. populace was instrumental in communicating the flu hype. Tom Skinner, spokesman for the CDC stated "we're going to continue to stress that the vaccine is the most important thing that parents can do to protect their children.
Scientists at the CDC were implicated through collaborations and publications involving private contracts with Novavax, a company that obtains its biosimilars through CDC Influenza Branch director, Ruben O. Donis, and Dr. Rick Bright, previously working with Donis at the CDC, now Novavax's Vice President of Global Influenza Programs.
On the basis of scanty country-level information, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a level 4 pandemic on April 27, 2009. Two days later, a level 5 Pandemic was announced without corroborating evidence (April 29, 2009). A level 6 Pandemic was announced on June 11, 2009.
Following the level 6 Pandemic announcement, both the WHO and the CDC decided that data collection of individual confirmed and probable cases was no longer necessary to ascertain the spread of swine flu. As of July 10, 2009, one month after the announcement of the level six pandemic, the WHO discontinued the collection of confirmed cases.
Based on incomplete and scantly data, the WHO nonetheless predicted with authority that: "as many as 2 billion people would become infected over the next two years -- nearly one-third of the world population." (World Health Organization as reported by the Western media, July 2009). A statement that was later found to be complete nonsense.
More of The Same Corruption With A Different Tune
Now Whistleblower Doctor William Thompson has shared his story about the CDC with Doctor Brian Hooker and the world. Thompson says he stayed quiet for over 10 years after finding a link between vaccines in young black children and autism. Thompson says the CDC knew about this link, and purposely manipulated the evidence removing “Black Babies without birth certificates” from the study to justify their own multi-billion dollar vaccination operation.
Brian Hooker's published a paper, with a comprehensive analysis of the CDC's own data from 2003 revealing a 340% increased risk of autism in African-American children following the MMR vaccine.
Dr. Thompson was well aware of the increased risk from MMR vaccines. and referred to these results as "sensitive." Dr. Thompson admitted that CDC scientists and decision makers were trying to decide which documents to suppress or submit to the Dept. of Justice.
Belsie Gonzalez, Senior Public Affairs Specialist for the CDC responded to an inquiry made by the Next News Network admitting the omission of the data based on the children’s birth certificates, here’s the statement:
“Access to the information on the birth certificates allowed researchers to assess more complete information on race as well as other important characteristics, including possible risk factors for autism such as the child’s birth weight, mother’s age, and education. This information was not available for the children without birth certificates; hence CDC study did not present data by race on black, white, or other race children from the whole study sample. It presented the results on black and white/other race children from the group with birth certificates.”
It is a clear admission that the CDC did not present data because the children without Birth Certificates lacked meta data on risk factors - including Race.
William Thompson has worked for the government agency for over a decade and confirmed that "the CDC knew about the relationship between the age of first MMR vaccine and autism incidence in African-American boys as early as 2003, but chose to cover it up." He remarked "we've missed ten years of research because the CDC is so paralyzed right now by anything related to autism. They're not doing what they should be doing because they're afraid to look for things that might be associated." He alleges criminal wrongdoing by his supervisors, and he expressed deep regret about his role in helping the CDC hide data.
Thompson’s revelations call into question the nine other studies cited by the CDC as evidence denying a link between vaccines and autism. They also have spurred a change.org petition to have the fraudulent study retracted from the Journal of Pediatrics, which published it in 2004.

CDC Has Known Since 1999 That Vaccines and Thimerosal Correlated With Autsim
When the results of the Verstraeten study were first reported outside the CDC in 2005, there was no evidence that anyone but Dr. Verstraeten within the CDC had known of the very high 7.6-fold elevated relative risk of autism from exposure to Thimerosal during infancy. But now, clear evidence exists. An acquired abstract from 1999 titled, “Increased risk of developmental neurologic impairment after high exposure to Thimerosal containing vaccine in first month of life” required the approval of top CDC officials prior to its presentation at the Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) conference. Thimerosal, which is 50% mercury by weight, was used in most childhood vaccines and in the RhoGAM shot for pregnant women prior to the early 2000s.
The CDC maintains there is “no relationship between Thimerosal-containing vaccines and autism rates in children,” even though the data from the CDC’s own Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD) database shows a very high risk. There are a number of public records to back this up, including this Congressional Record from May 1, 2003. The CDC’s refusal to acknowledge thimerosal’s risks is exemplified by a leaked statement from Dr. Marie McCormick, chair of the CDC/NIH-sponsored Immunization Safety Review at IOM. Regarding vaccination, she said in 2001, “...we are not ever going to come down that it [autism] is a true side effect...” Also of note, the former director of the CDC, which purchases $4 billion worth of vaccines annually, is now president of Merck’s vaccine division.
Toxic Effects of Thimerosal No Longer Disputed by Scientific Study
Thimerosal-Derived Ethylmercury in vaccines is now well established as a mitochondrial toxin in human brain cells.
There are dozens of scientific inquiries and studies on the adverse effects of thimerosal, including gastrointestinal abnormalities and immune system irregularities.
Thimerosal, is metabolized (converted) into the toxic and “harmful” methylmercury. And then in turn, the harmful methylmercury is metabolized (converted) into the most harmful, long-term-toxic, “inorganic” mercury that is retained in bodily tissue.
“Inorganic” mercury is the end product of mercury metabolism. Methylmercury subject groups confirm that the metabolic pathway for mercury in the human and animal body consists in the reduction/conversion of the harmful methylmercury into a more harmful “inorganic” mercury which is tissue-bound, and long-term-toxic. Hence, both the originating substance (methylmercury) and its conversion/reduction, inorganic mercury are found.
Based on published findings by Dr. Paul King, the metabolic pathway for organic mercury involves the conversion of Ethylmercury (Thimerosal) into “methylmercury” and then the further reduction of “methylmercury” into inorganic mercury.
Brian Hooker is the father of a son with autism and he holds a PhD in Biochemical Engineering, in addition to being a dedicated member of the autism community. He also played a role in how the House autism hearing came to be. He stated:
"The CDC needs a comprehensive, independent investigation, obviously. It shouldn't stop there - the entire Department of Health and Human Services (including CDC, NIH, FDA, the Health Resources Services Administration, etc.) has shown bias against even researching the connection between vaccines and autism and continues to suppress any science that would suggest a link. The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program should also be investigated, with an emphasis on the whole Omnibus Autism Proceeding. The Oversight committee members need to know that they have the power to stop the autism epidemic by getting to the bottom of this issue."
